Conformity of the Blues Scales and the Harmonic Functions
 
Bb Blues. The main objective of the twentieth lesson to learn switching between the Minor and Major Blues Scales in accordance with the harmonic functions. Listen to an example, and then repeat exactly the same thing. The Major Blues Scale is for function Tonic Chords and Scale indicated in red. The Minor Blues Scale is for function Subdominant and Dominant Chords and Scale indicated in blue. The first exercise starts with the first step of the Major Blues Scale.
